Roof Repair
Leaks, flashing and storm damage, fixed at the source.
Best Deal Home Group repairs roof leaks, failed flashing and storm damage on homes in all 15 towns of Cape Cod. We find where the water is getting in, fix it at the source, and tell you plainly when a repair is only a short-term fix.
Many roof leaks on Cape Cod start small: flashing that has pulled away from a chimney, a cracked vent boot, a skylight seal that has failed, or a few shingles lifted by a storm. Caught early, most of them can be repaired without replacing the whole roof.
We trace the leak to its source, replace the damaged shingles, flashing or decking, and seal the area so it holds through the next storm. If the roof is near the end of its life, we will tell you that a repair is only a short-term fix and show you what a replacement would involve.

FAQ
Roof Repair questions we hear on Cape Cod
What causes most roof leaks on Cape Cod?
Most leaks we trace come from flashing: around chimneys, plumbing vents and skylights, or where a roof meets a wall. Shingles lifted or torn off in a storm are next, and in winter, ice dams at the eaves can push water under the shingles.
Should I repair my roof or replace it?
If the roof is fairly young and the problem is in one area, a repair usually makes sense. If the shingles are worn across the whole roof or the decking is soft in several places, a repair only buys time, and we will tell you that before you spend money on it.
Do you repair cedar shingle roofs?
Yes. We replace damaged cedar shingles and the flashing around them on cedar roofs. New cedar starts out lighter than the old shingles and weathers toward the same gray over time.
